good times ...
This weekend Daniel and I decided we wanted to play some Sega Genesis. So we hit the local video game store (which really smells bad ... but that is neither here nor there) and picked up one on the cheap. We also snagged Sonic 2. We then went to the local flea market and I picked up a copy of the original Sonic. I even got the haggle a little on the price as the guy was wanting just a tad more than a reasonable price for a game so common ...
So the weekend ensues and Daniel and I beat Sonic 2, and had a crazy good time doing it. Way to much fun ...
Then Sunday night (and into Monday morning) I beat the game Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii. It is way past my bedtime so I won't go into it to much, but let me just say that it pretty much was the most awesome game I have played in an incredibly long time. I was hesitant at first, but I am glad that I picked it up as it is just way to much fun to play ... in fact, my thumb hurts quite badly from all the playing, I haven't felt this pain since I was a kid. Those were the days.
I shall try to write more about how awesome the game was when I get some free time that isn't cutting into my sleeping ...
