as af late i have been spending a fair amount of time playing around with fractals. i must admit that i have become quite drawn into the beauty of the complexity of the mathematical equations that drive the foundation of them. i won't go into all the detail as i really doubt anyone else really cares, but i'm having a fun time at anyrate.
heres a thumbnail of one of the fractals i made
well, a friend of mine (Daniel) is shooting a six min short film for a contest online. He asked me to be in it so here are a few images from the first night of shooting the film. also, i am having a blast ... this has been all kinds of fun!
ok, so i was heading back from daniel's house and i am driving along minding my own business. i see some headlights in my rearview and don't really give it much thought as i don't posses control of the highways and roads in our nation. anyway, i see a dead possum in the road and dodge it ... apparently that was my mistake. a few seconds later the headlights get right up on my bumper and i think to myself "jerk, it's a broken yellow so pass me already." i am about 100 ft from my one and only turn that is less than one mile from my house and wham ... i see blue and red flashing lights. so i think to myself "what on earth did i do?" the officer approaches my window and the following conversation ensues ...

Officer: you swerved a bit back there
Me : yes Sir, i was trying to avoid hitting a dead possum
Officer: well i'm just making sure you havn't been drinking
Me : oddly enough I don't drink at all, i have a hard enough time keeping my head clear as it is with college.
Officer: Wow, well I think thats really good
Me : thank you Sir.
Officer: Can I see your liscence
Me : sure ( i hand him my liscence)
Officer: I see you have your insurance card too (gesturing to the insurance card in my hand)
Me : yes Sir
Officer: Well here is your liscence back
Me : thank you Sir
Officer: Well, drive safe
Me : Have a good evening
The car drives away and i go home ...
