(10:32:33) Friend: greets
(10:32:44) Jonathan: howdy
(10:32:52) Friend: how goes it?
(10:33:02) Jonathan: i've been better
(10:33:04) Jonathan: how about you
(10:33:18) Friend: it's going to be nearly 70° here today-- life is good
(10:33:24) Jonathan: nice
(10:33:36) Jonathan: it's 66 outside right now
(10:33:44) Friend: sweet
(10:33:44) Jonathan: with a high of 78 today
(10:34:32) Jonathan: i've decided that life is one very f'ed up thing
(10:34:46) Friend: girl trouble?
(10:34:51) Friend: or just general?
(10:34:54) Jonathan: haha, no ... things are going fine with her
(10:35:48) Jonathan: i would have assumed as big of a mouth as Friendine has that y'all would have already heard all about the escapade that went down yesterday
(10:37:15) Jonathan: which is what i initially thought this IM was about ... and now i'm thinking i was mistaken
(10:37:28) Friend: no, I just hadn't heard from you in a day or two
(10:37:45) Friend: I did hear about the shenanigans but figure that's basically none of my beeswax, if you know what I mean
(10:38:14) Jonathan: i wish me and jennifer and jessica didn't get dragged into it
(10:38:38) Jonathan: i've had a lot of people accuse me of a lot of things ... but yesterday was by far the absolute worst
(10:38:43) Friend: yeah, I can see that-- but she's not exactly responsible for her actions at this point
(10:38:50) Jonathan: naw, i'm not upset with her
(10:38:56) Jonathan: sad for her
(10:39:01) Jonathan: but definatly not mad
(10:39:19) Friend: it's got to be very hard on her parents, too
(10:39:22) Jonathan: it was just kind of a sick feeling having the cops called on me for brutally killing both my parents
(10:39:42) Friend: WTF?
(10:39:50) Jonathan: umm...what
(10:39:55) Jonathan: maybe you didn't hear it all
(10:40:07) Friend: apparently not-- and I don't mean to pry
(10:40:15) Jonathan: it's alright
(10:40:28) Jonathan: did you hear she was with us when she snapped?
(10:40:55) Friend: nop
(10:41:33) Jonathan: hmm, ok .. then you heard a very different set of events than what actually went down
(10:42:04) Jonathan: she showed up @ our door @ 6am ringing the crap out of our door bell
(10:42:31) Jonathan: completely freaked out and scared out of her mind ... only in her pajamas and barefoot
(10:42:40) Friend: yikes
(10:43:13) Jonathan: i was still asleep @ this point but she called the police on jerry and jennifer saying they wouldn't give her her stuff and that jerry was scaring her
(10:44:03) Jonathan: so the cops ended up talking to my sister and told her that april had been calling the police dispatch all night long and asked us to go get her stuff
(10:44:08) Jonathan: so she ended up @ our house
(10:44:25) Jonathan: @ which point i woke up and was completly confused
(10:44:34) Jonathan: all of this info is priveleaged info btw
(10:44:42) Jonathan: as i assume this is hush hush
(10:45:13) Jonathan: after i took a shower and got woken up april pretty much started throwing herself @ me
(10:45:17) Friend: dang
(10:45:51) Jonathan: and the only logic i can find in her turning on me is i as politely as i could told her that i wasn't interested in her like that
(10:46:40) Jonathan: so she gets dressed, packs all her stuff up and tells us she's going to the airport (while packing she just started going through our cabinets and taking random food and packing it up)
(10:47:15) Jonathan: so we we're faced with having to make a choice ... so we to play along with her game to try to calm her down
(10:47:31) Jonathan: told her we would take her to the bham airport
(10:47:59) Jonathan: then she started asking for a headband, and i ended up giving her one of my older hats cause she was worried about her hair
(10:48:10) Jonathan: we also gave her a phone card with like 20 mins on it
(10:48:26) Jonathan: we get her all packed up , get the luggage in the car
(10:48:42) Jonathan: i of course am the one who gets elected to drive
(10:49:19) Jonathan: so we're cruising down the road very calmly trying to get her to agree to going back home with us and just relaxing for a day to think about things
(10:50:02) Jonathan: she refuses and won't even give us the name of the person she was apparently going to see (she also said she was going to go see good ol' gordan b.)
(10:50:22) Jonathan: @ this point i am starting to think something isn't quite right
(10:50:37) Jonathan: we are on the on ramp for i-65
(10:50:46) Jonathan: and has the window down and throws my hat out the window
(10:50:52) Jonathan: then the headband
(10:50:55) Jonathan: a hairbow
(10:50:59) Jonathan: the phone card
(10:51:07) Jonathan: and random things from her purse
(10:51:37) Jonathan: @ this point we all relized she was pretty fucked up in the head ... but oh how it gets worse
(10:52:07) Jonathan: so i tell her that we are almost out of gas and i want a drink so i'm gonna pull off @ the priceville exit
(10:52:27) Jonathan: before we get there she starts grilling me about what is the worst thing that i've ever done
(10:52:34) Jonathan: so i told her i sped some
(10:52:39) Jonathan: but that was about it
(10:52:44) Jonathan: which dind't seem to pacify her
(10:52:50) Jonathan: then she started really getting weird
(10:52:55) Jonathan: i take the exit
(10:53:32) Jonathan: and am pulling into the gas station to a pump and before i even stop the car she jumps out and throws her jacket down while she is running inside
(10:53:42) Jonathan: @ this point i relize something bad is about to happen
(10:54:43) Jonathan: and i've got my door about half open and she opens the door to the gas station ... points @ me and screams in a sincerly terrified voice "You had better run like hell!!! ... You Murderer, you killed your Mother!!! MURDERER!!!"
(10:54:59) Jonathan: so i am kinda sitting there with a "wtf" look on my face
(10:55:14) Jonathan: i really don't remember what jessica or jennifer were doing @ this point
(10:55:34) Jonathan: and it occurs to me that all the rednecks in the store stop and kinda walk to the window and start watching me
(10:55:54) Jonathan: so i get out the car and walk to the front with my hands out of my pockets
(10:56:11) Jonathan: and stand there with my hands out in front of me motionless
(10:56:41) Jonathan: jennifer and jessica both tried going into the store to try to explain what was going on (even though we had no clue)
(10:57:04) Jonathan: and the clerk starts screaming that we had better not go anywhere and that she was calling the police
(10:57:42) Jonathan: and by this time she had locked herself in the bathroom (and later found out she was screaming through the door) "jonathan killed his parents ... that man murdered them both"
(10:58:01) Jonathan: so the police were called on me for a double homicide
(10:58:18) Jonathan: they showed up in about 3 mins flat
(10:58:43) Jonathan: and @ this point i was preparing myself to get ruffed up a little bit in the process of being arrested
(10:59:21) Jonathan: but the cop went into the gas station first and apparently she was still screaming that i killed them both in cold blood and that i was going to kill her next
(11:00:05) Jonathan: however i got lucky, cause she apparently also started yelling other random things that were so off the wall that the cop 'ame outside, walked right up to us and asked us if she was on meth
(11:00:34) Jonathan: so we had to explain to him that mom was indeed dead
(11:01:04) Jonathan: but that she died almost 3 years ago on the table in the er right there infront of me and jennifer and that dad was @ home asleep right now
(11:01:35) Jonathan: and we gave him her information, james number, and all of our information
(11:02:08) Jonathan: @ this point (he has his back to the store) i see april comming outside so i tell him that she is about to walk to walk out the door
(11:02:25) Jonathan: so he turns around and she walks out with a woman she has more or less taken hostage
(11:02:49) Jonathan: and she starts screaming "which car is yours, you have got to get me out of here ... he's going to kill me"
(11:03:00) Jonathan: and she has this lady in a tight hold
(11:03:24) Jonathan: so the lady kinda walks over to the police officer and april lets go for a second and the lady runs to her car and drives off
(11:04:02) Jonathan: aight ... this part we dind't tell her family the entire truth cause i don't think they really wanted to hear it ... we told them that she grabbed the cop
(11:04:26) Jonathan: however, she walked up to him and grabbed him by the face with both hands and plants goes for broke, kisses dude
(11:05:04) Jonathan: he kinda stepped back and said "please don't touch me" and she starts going off about how thats all she is to him on the internet and how she knows he wants her
(11:05:11) Jonathan: and starts kinda jumping in a weird circle
(11:05:29) Jonathan: so he takes her to his car and puts her in the back of the car
(11:06:15) Jonathan: and she reaches up through the open plastic window in the back and pulls his coat through which apparently had no weapon cause i'm still alive ... so thats cool
(11:06:36) Jonathan: ok, i've only been truly afriad a couple times in my life
(11:06:42) Jonathan: and yesterday was one of them
(11:06:56) Jonathan: cause when she was in the back of the bar she was flipping me off over and over
(11:07:03) Jonathan: and i glanced over there and made eye contact
(11:07:28) Jonathan: and that was the most dark and evil feeling i've ever had in my life
(11:07:53) Jonathan: i honestly thought she was gonna break the window and tryt o kill me
(11:08:10) Jonathan: cause after the eye contact she started freaking out and trying ot open the door
(11:08:23) Jonathan: and another cop shows up now
(11:08:47) Jonathan: so while the first one was inside taking statements we had to retell everything to # 2
(11:09:12) Jonathan: byt this time jennifer ends up talking to james on the phone trying to explan to him what has happened
(11:09:39) Jonathan: and since she's an adult, and haden't broken any laws and no charges wrre being filed the cops were about to release her back into our custody
(11:10:16) Jonathan: and james was asking us to take her to the hospital and he couldn't understand why we were saying no and why we called the police on her
(11:10:30) Jonathan: eventually he convinces the police to take her to decatur general
(11:10:38) Jonathan: and another cop shows up
(11:11:03) Jonathan: this one got out and saw me by my car and her in the car and asked if this was the right minimart
(11:11:17) Jonathan: cause this dind't look like the right scene for the call
(11:11:35) Jonathan: so the 2nd cop explains to him what happened
(11:11:39) Jonathan: and he leaves
(11:12:11) Jonathan: and we got told to follow them to the hospital since they didn't know if james was going to even show up
(11:12:38) Jonathan: so they open the car door and amazingly she very calmly lets them cuff her and read her her rights
(11:12:52) Jonathan: and we follow them to the hosiptal
(11:13:03) Jonathan: and meet james and susan ...
(11:13:11) Jonathan: and the bishop and his wife shows up
(11:13:27) Jonathan: james comes out of the er and starts to cry
(11:13:40) Jonathan: and said this is the worst the've ever seen
(11:13:55) Friend: holy cow. I'm speechless
(11:14:02) Friend: really sorry you had to go through that
(11:14:11) Jonathan: and that now she was telling everyone that jonathan had planted bugs on all the stuf she threw out the window and that i bugged her
(11:14:18) Jonathan: and w's tracking her with satelites
(11:14:26) Jonathan: and about 20 other things i apparently had done
(11:14:53) Jonathan: he dind't get specific on those so i have no clue what else i was being accused of @ that point
(11:15:01) Jonathan: so i'm assuming they probly wern't real nice
(11:15:07) Friend: don't you wish you could bug people like that
(11:15:23) Jonathan: yep ... my rep is apparently out of control
(11:15:40) Jonathan: when the bishop got there he asked if i was driving and what i did
(11:15:48) Jonathan: i think he was joking
(11:16:08) Jonathan: but @ that point i really wasn't sure about anything
(11:16:20) Jonathan: so we waited @ the hospital for a couple hours
(11:16:31) Jonathan: we move all of her stuff to the XXXXXX' car
(11:16:48) Jonathan: and we go home and inform XXXXXX what happened (another 3 hours)
(11:16:56) Jonathan: we tell dad (another 2 hours)
(11:17:12) Jonathan: we get a call around 8 pm from susan
(11:17:31) Jonathan: and she said that april ended up getting so violent that they had to strap her down and sedate her
(11:17:49) Jonathan: and that she is @ decatur west psychiatric for 1 week as of last night
(11:17:53) Jonathan: for observation
(11:18:04) Friend: dang. what a mess.
(11:18:07) Jonathan: but now i'm a little freaked out
(11:18:23) Jonathan: cause unless she snaps back then there is a very angry person who wants me dead
(11:18:47) Jonathan: and quite honestly i think if she was around me she'd probly start to beat the living hell out of me
(11:19:16) Jonathan: and although i know it wasn't her that was saying i killed mom
(11:19:22) Jonathan: it still cut pretty deap
(11:19:38) Jonathan: and i really don't think i'll ever be able to so much as look @ the girl again
(11:19:55) Jonathan: which sucks cause she's always been a friend
(11:20:07) Jonathan: but even thinking about her voice freaks me out
(11:20:30) Jonathan: so yeah ... thats the story start to finish
